If you look at our date of Incorporation, May of 2007 and our Date that we received our tax exempt status November of 2007, the Foundation is considered a new organization.  If you could look at  those involved with the Foundation, their long term dedication to the purposes for which this organization was formed and the efforts and accomplishments over the years in promoting and protecting our outdoor environment and those that enjoy it,  you would have to say that the foundation is a well established organization whose members have an established tract record of successful accomplishments for which this organizations was formed.

Why was this Sportsmen's Foundation Formed?  To go further and better serve the outdoors and those enjoy it.  With the benefits of the Foundation being a non profit, independent agency, we can go further to achieve  our goals through education and conservation initiatives.  With our tax exempt non profit status, we can seek funding opportunities and award grants toward projects that are in accordance with the purpose for which we were formed as stated in our Certificate of Incorporation

We look forward to working with everyone that appreciates the outdoors, believes in it's wise use, and the principle of sound conservations practices.  Those that see a need or conservation concern that need to be addressed and those that have the means that can help resolve those needs or concerns, we look forward to working with.
